Overview
Experimental petrologist interested in the geochemistry of silicate melts and minerals in high-temperature systems. Most of my research has focused on understanding the geochemical behavior (diffusion, saturation, speciation, and partitioning) of volatile elements and their isotopes in Earth and planetary materials. At Cornell, I am recreating the surfaces and atmospheres of lava worlds in the laboratory in order to characterize and better understand current and future observations of exoplanets.
