Lili Alderson

Klarman Postdoctoral Fellow - CCAPS

Overview

Her research uses space-based telescopes such as JWST and Hubble to study the atmospheres of exoplanets in transmission, combining data analysis and modelling so that we can learn as much as possible about the diversity of these planets.

Research Focus

Her focus is on the atmospheres of Neptune-sized atmospheres, exploring how disequilibrium chemistry processes control and influence the observations we make.

She collaborates with a large number of people, including others in CCAPS, and around the US and Europe. Most of her current research involves the JWST Telescope Scientist Team (of which Nikole Lewis is a co-PI), collaborators at the University of Bristol where she did her PhD, and the UK based BOWIE+ collaboration.
