Overview

I am a fifth year PhD candidate at Cornell working with Prof. Saul Teukolsky on the development of more efficient techniques for binary-black-hole simulations, the horizon behavior of dynamical black holes, and the memory effect of gravitational wave. I contribute to the spectral Einstein code, which is a state-of-art numerical package for black hole simulations.

I graduated from UC Berkeley in 2017, with a double major in physics and statistics. I worked with Prof. Irfan Siddiqi on the speed-up of purification in continuous quantum measurement. I also worked in the ATLAS group at LBNL (Lawrence Berkeley National Lab) on the classification of particles using machine learning algorithms.

In my spare time, I love photography, stargazing, playing tennis, and skiing.
