Astronomy Ph.D. Candidate Awarded FINESST Fellowship

Trevor Foote, a fourth-year astronomy and space sciences doctoral candidate, was recently awarded a 2022 FINESST Fellowship to investigate the use of transition-edge sensors for high-precision characterization of exoplanet atmospheres. The Future Investigators in NASA Earth and Space Science Technology (FINESST) Fellowship will provide $100,000 to fund his final two years.
