Trip to Baikal Lake - Irkutsk

We visited Baikal Lake on the way from China to Moscow. We arrived to Irkutsk and
looked around, then went to the "dog's trail" in Listvyanka, then went to the Olkhon island for few days
by bus, then went to Listvyanka again and to Port Baikal.

We arrived to Irkutsk, stopped in the guest house (a room in the flat) and went to the city to look around.

Central parts of Irkutsk are dominated by the old two-story buildings. I had an impression That it not differ for
                            centuries and looked actually nice.

Another old building.

 And another one.

And part of it from other side.

In our guesthouse we met Martin - traveler from Australia.  We became good friends and went with
him everywhere before his departure to Mongolia.

At the main square near the Angara river. The statue is of the czar Alexander III.

It was a sunny day and people were dancing at the square.

Closer to the evening the friendship with Martin became even stronger. We were sitting in a nice
outdoor restaurant and enjoyed a good day.

We also ordered a prominent Baikal fish - omul. You can get nice hot omul in Listvyanka
or Irkutsk market. It is fantastic, specifically when it is hot from the market.

Next morning we went to Listvyanka with Martin.
