Briony in Death Valley Briony Horgan is a 3rd year graduate student seeking her PhD in astronomy at Cornell, working with Prof. Jim Bell.

Her scientific interests include martian surface mineralogy, geomorphology, and dune dynamics. Briony's thesis research is on the geology of the martian north polar region.
