Overview

Hey all, I'm currently a fifth year here at Cornell working with Dong Lai on the spin dynamics of exoplanets, the demographics of merging black holes, and the effect of tides in binary stars. I am also actively involved in outreach via Ask an Astronomer and various other events hosted by the Cornell Astronomy department.

I obtained my undergraduate degree at Caltech with a double major in Physics and Computer Science. I worked with Professor Sunil Golwala on source subtraction in kinetic Sunyaev-Zel'dovich (kSZ) effect simulation pipelines. I also was a teaching assistant for the complex analysis and differential equations sequence (ACM95) there. I then spent a year working at Blend Labs, a SF-based software startup, before starting school here at Cornell.

In my spare time I train for marathons, play the piano, and play video games.
