Gravity Probe B Educator's Guide (see p. 43 of the PDF file at http://einstein.stanford.edu/RESOURCES/education-index.html#guide for instructions on how to build the Spandex Universe, although the one we have in the Cornell Astronomy Department was built using a slightly different method)

The Spandex Universe is a large two-dimensional space-time model. A group of up to about 12 people can get around the model and participate in modeling solar system formation, galaxy collisions, gravitational lensing, black holes, and more.
