I am a Research Associate and a founding member of the Carl Sagan Institute, The Pale Blue Dot & Beyond, working with its director, Lisa Kaltenegger. I am interested in the evolution of planetary atmospheres as it pertains to Earth-like extrasolar planets, early Mars, and Earth. I have developed a new 1-D radiative convective model that was used to recalculate the edges of the traditional liquid water habitable zone, warm early Mars with various greenhouse gases, and study the evolution of Earth's climate over time.
